Store Manager (Referred to as Head Coach at Hibbett Sports)
The Store manager oversees the store's sales effort in each department and supervises the store's operation to insure efficiency and profitability. It is the Store Manager's responsibility to convey the company's policies, goals and standards to the store's sales team and keep communication lines open to the District Manager and Corporate Office. The Store Manager hires, counsels and coaches the employees of the store in an effort to run the store efficiently. The Store Manager represents the company in appearance, attitude and professionalism portrayed to employees, customers and to the community.
Manager-in-Training (Referred to as Coach-in-Training at Hibbett Sports)
The Manager-in-Training is responsible for assisting and consulting with the Store Manager (Head Coach) regarding overall store operations and administrative duties. This includes determining the methods and approaches necessary to accomplish the store's goals. The Manager-In-Training (Coach-In-Training) assumes supervisory control in the Head Coach's absence. The Manager-In-Training will be trained in Store Manager Responsibilities and Duties in an effort to potentially manage a Hibbett Store themselves.
Assistant Manager (Referred to as Assistant Coach at Hibbett Sports)
It is the Assistant Coach's responsibility to assist and consult with the Store Manager (Head Coach) regarding overall store operations and administrative duties. This includes determining the methods and approaches necessary to accomplish the store's goals. The Assistant Manager (Assistant Coach) assumes supervisory control in the Head Coach's absence.
Sales Associate (Referred to as Rookie at Hibbett Sports)
The Salesperson is responsible for assisting the store's Management staff with providing quality customer service. The salesperson is responsible for becoming knowledgeable in each product area or department in our store. The salesperson is responsible for upholding policies, procedures and standards listed in the Merchandise Standards Manual. He / She must promote each sale and/or promotion to the fullest extent. The salesperson's attitude, sales skills and product knowledge are keys in their success at Hibbett.
