HIBBETT SPORTING GOODS, INC. OPENS NEW
SPORTS ADDITIONS IN ADA, OKLAHOMA
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (October 28, 2011) – National sporting goods retailer Hibbett
Sporting Goods, Inc. has opened its newest Sports Additions store in Ada, Oklahoma.
The new store opened at 1131 North Hills Shopping Center in Ada on Thursday, October
27 and will employ approximately seven full and part-time team members.
Announcing the opening, Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc. President and CEO Jeff Rosenthal
noted, “This convenient new location is a win-win for our company and the Ada
community. We are very excited to be serving the customers in this area.”
Sports Additions stocks a large selection of athletic footwear and accessories. “With the
buying power of a national company, we offer our customers the convenience of buying
the best in footwear right in their own neighborhoods,” said Rosenthal, “and we
extensively train our employees to make sure they can provide superior service to our
customers.”
“We research the markets we enter to learn what the customers of that area want,” added

Oklahoma has been a target of the companies’ expansion for several years now. With the
addition of the new Sports Additions in Ada, the company now has 19 Sports Additions
nationwide and 40 Hibbett Sports stores in Oklahoma.

stores in small to mid-sized markets, predominantly in the Sunbelt, Mid-Atlantic and the
