Jason Markk’s iconic purple cleaning solution is the final result of a year and a half of work of a team of chemists guided by the experience and insight of sneakerhead Markk. He wanted to create a cleaning solution that could take on tough stains without ruining the integrity of common sneaker materials like leather, nubuck and suede. Jason Markk’s product has proved to be one of the best ways to keep kicks fresh and clean safely. In 2014, Markk opened a flagship store in Los Angeles that offers a sneaker cleaning service, the first business of its kind. Markk also developed individually wrapped sneaker wipes with a slightly abrasive side for tough stains and a softer side.
