At this point, Nike N7's history spans almost every product line the company supports. There is a Nike SB N7 collection for skateboarders. There have been N7 Air Force Ones and Air Jordans. There has been an N7 Pegasus for runners and a string of signature Kevin Durant KD N7 sneakers for hoops fans.
All told, the N7 project has worked with more than 20 different Nike silhouettes and produced dozens of seasonal capsule collections.
The collections celebrate aspects of indigenous culture in their design language and through collaboration with indigenous artists. For example, turquoise is considered a sacred, living stone in several Native American cultures, symbolizing a connection to the sky and earth. The 2025 N7 summer collection featured an N7 SB Dunk Low turquoise colorway.
Since 2014, San Diego State University has partnered with N7, wearing turquoise jerseys for one home game every year as a gesture of solidarity with local Native American communities in San Diego County.
The Spring 2016 N7 collection drew inspiration from the work of artist and activist Bunky Echo-Hawk, a member of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma and Yakama Nation of Washington. The collection included four-pointed stars on several apparel pieces, an element of cultural symbolism that Echo-Hawk described as "something that a lot of tribal communities identify with.... They pay homage to the power that is above us."
The four-pointed star references the four cardinal directions — north, south, east and west — and the four sacred elements. It is considered a symbol of the balance of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life.
