Hibbett and Nike are celebrating two of our favorite #girldads this Father's Day, and we are excited to welcome photographer David Wright (better known as Odi) to the Support Her Sole community!
Odiwams was born David Ray Wright Jr. in 1983. The acronym “One Day It Will All Makes Sense” is much more than a song from Chicago rapper Common, but describes Odi’s artistic journey into photography.
Born in Houston, Texas, Odiwams shifted through many professional careers to arrive at his current awareness of his creative prowess that was always there waiting to emerge.
Odiwams photographic practice spans a range of media, including music/lifestyle, product, and investigative photography as well as video/film. As he enters the nexus of his unique vision and commentary on the American experience through his various interconnected bodies of work, Odiwams style of extracting vulnerability and character is what connects his diverse subject matter captivating the viewer at every encounter.
We are especially proud to feature Odi in Support Her Sole, as he has been the man behind the lens for all of the inspiring talent we have featured on the campaign thus far.
