Unbox New Brands: Primitive, Sixth June and Post Human

Apr 20, 2023

Sure, at Hibbett | City Gear we put a lot of focus on the footwear, but the "toe" is only part of our Toe-2-Head™ philosophy, which is why we are announcing the addition of three new apparel brands - Primitive, Sixth June and Post Human - to our assortment of streetwear and casual fashion styles.

Primitive

Primitive was founded in 2008 by professional skateboarder, Paul "P-Rod" Rodriguez.

The 4-time X-Games gold medalist and two partners opened the first Primitive storefront in Ecnio, California, boasting a limited assortment of Primitive branded tees and hats. It wasn't before long though, that the brand expanded its portfolio into the larger streetwear, sneaker and skateboarding markets.

Today Primitive is known for its collabs with Naruto, Marvel, and others, as well as nostalgia collections featuring icons like Tupac and Bob Marley.

Primitive apparel is available online and in Hibbett retail locations, now.

Another fashion label founded in 2008, Sixth June is popular for its bold and innovative use of graphic elements and sports-inspired street aesthetic. The brand has perfected the combination of rugged urban style with comfort.

Men's Sixth June apparel is now sold online and in select City Gear stores,
