These aren’t your typical Breds, however. The makeup is largely black and white with the slightest hint of red. The all-black upper artfully blends nubuck overlays with suede, creating a rich textural masterpiece on this Ferrari-inspired sneaker. Breathable black mesh, meanwhile, composes the vamp, culminating with that spoiler-like tongue.
Impactful hits of white come into play along the midsole, extending upward toward the toe and spanning midfoot to heel. The Jumpman-Ferrari emblem along the shoe’s sides features both white and a glimmer of red. The heel piece includes an elongated No. 23 and the Jumpman insignia in white, which complements the white insole. Flip the shoe over to peep the tire-like herringbone traction pattern bisected by vertical lines at the midfoot.
While the AJ 14’s design gives this shoe its flash, the details contained within make the shoe’s engine really run. A Phylon midsole encapsulates the Zoom Air units in the heel and the forefoot, and the rigid midfoot shank plate contributes to the sneaker’s stability.
The Air Jordan 14 was the last signature model worn on court by Jordan when he played for the Chicago Bulls. See what makes this shoe so great when you cop a pair of the Air Jordan 14 Retro Black, White and Red shoes to wear for holiday gatherings or as a last-minute Christmas gift for that special someone. Find them at Hibbett | City Gear on December 20, and check out other must-have Jordan releases through our launch calendar!
