Air Jordan "Laser" Collection Launching 08/22 Colorway: MULTI-COLOR Style: Men's and Kid's Sneakers

Release Date: August 22, 2026

Two of this summer's hottest sneaker drops are Jordan Brand laser-etched releases that bridge the gap between footwear and wearable art. The Air Jordan Laser collection features a laser-etched Air Jordan 1 Low OG and a Quickstrike (QS) Air Jordan 3 release. The collection launches August 22.

Intricate Craftsmanship Of The AJ1 Low OG And AJ3 QS Laser Pack

Jordan Brand first threw its weight behind laser etching in the early 2000s. It's a technique that allows for intricate customization, with highly detailed shapes and illustrations etched into leather and suede uppers. Kid Cudi made laser-etched Black/Red Air Jordan 4s famous in 2005. And the technique gets revived from time to time, such as for the laser-etched Air Jordan 1 released for the shoe's 30th anniversary in 2015.

On August 22, Jordan Brand drops two significant laser-etched editions. Both releases stand out as lifestyle-focused premium drops for trend amplifiers.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Laser" reads almost as a tribute to the Air Jordan 4 "Laser" shoes Kid Cudi wore a couple of decades ago. Red and black are the dominant themes of the colorway. A black leather upper carries intricate laser etching. Red laces and a red outsole provide color highlights. A white midsole offers balance.

The Air Jordan 3 "Laser" details are inspiring. This Quickstrike release is a reissue of a legendary Jordan Brand rarity — the laser-etched AJ3s made for Michael Jordan's 40th birthday in 2003. The shoe has existed more as legend than reality for years, but will be available for retail for the first time on August 22.

The AJ3 QS release features a white leather upper. The AJ3's characteristic elephant print overlays are swapped out for an all-over laser-etched artwork tribute to MJ's life and career. It's an instant highlight on any Air Jordan shoes list.

Sizing And How To Cop At Your Local Hibbett

The Air Jordan Laser collection drops August 22.

Both the AJ1 Low and AJ# generally fit true to size. The AJ1, however, does have a relatively snug toe box — take a half-size up from your usual size if you like a more generous fit or have wide feet. Similarly, consider a half-size up for AJ3s if you have wide feet.

Both the AJ1 Low OG and AJ3 QS Laser releases should be extremely popular with sneakerheads, collectors, and trend amplifiers.
