Luka is known for his fast-paced game, including stepping side to side to avoid pursuers. That's why the Luka 2 includes additional Cushlon 3.0 foam in the midsole for lateral support, helping you cut as hard as you need to evade defenders.
Another feature tailored to Luka's fast play? The lightweight Formula 23 foam paired with an IsoPlate foot frame. These provide extra stability for multi-directional movements.
But what really takes this basketball kick to the next level? The sick color combos. The mesh upper here is an almost-neon Bright Mango. Thin black lines add detailing across the side for a contrast that almost looks like a basketball.
The tongue and laces are all monochromatic black, and they almost look like a void compared to the rest of the shoe's brightness. The only thing that stands out is Doncic's logo embroidered in silver on the tongue, along with a tiny "II" to indicate this is the shoe's second iteration.
We'd be remiss if we missed mentioning the Jordan detailing throughout. You'll notice a tiny Bright Mango Jumpman on the tongue tab, as well as a white one printed on the lateral heel and medial midfoot.
The shoe sits on a Bright Mango midsole that's broken up by black support inserts throughout. The outsole is a transparent rubber that lets the orange and black designs shine through. Embedded in the heel is one final black Jumpman.
Get ready to blaze on the court with the Jordan Luka 2 "Mango." It'll hit your local Hibbett stores on May 2 in men's and grade school kids' sizes.
