The Jordan 4 Retro "Thunder" dropped in men's and kids' sizes May 13 at Hibbett | City Gear, and we've got pairs up for grabs!

Michael Jordan has done it all. Six-time NBA champion, minor league baseball outfielder and…motorcycle racer? Well, MJ himself doesn't race (at least not since his childhood dirt bike racing), but he did own a professional motorcycle team that he aptly called "Michael Jordan Motorsports."

The foray into motorcycle racing didn't exactly go MJ's way, but it did result in some great gear. Now, we're seeing a new basketball kick based on the uniforms designed by Nike creative director Mark Smith and worn by the team in 2006.

The Nike Air Jordan Retro 4 "Thunder" invokes hearty doses of Tour Yellow, black and white. If we didn't know any better, we'd say this is the perfect shoe for both Pittsburgh and Boston fans. It's dropping on May 13 in men's, grade school kids', preschool kids' and toddler kids' sizes.

The black nubuck upper includes a stitched-on mudguard overlay of the same color. Black mesh side panels reveal yellow material beneath. The winged grommets are also yellow, holding black laces into place securely at the ankle and forefoot. An additional black TPU wing at the ankle crosses back toward the heel.

The black tongue patch features a simple white Jumpman with Jordan in yellow beneath. For a fun touch, the back of the tongue is fuzzy yellow and features another black Air Jordan patch.

A black waffle heel clip offers some ankle support, and beneath is a black overlay featuring a big white Jumpman. This rests above the yellow midsole, which then transitions to black around the forefoot. You'll notice the visible Air unit at the heel.

The black rubber outsole is solid except for a yellow traction patch at the toe and a white Jumpman at the midfoot.

This retro Tinker Hatfield design would fit in on your next motorcycle ride. If you want the biker look, pair it with tapered black jeans and a black leather jacket.
