Hibbett is proud to announce its continued support of the Lindy Waters III Foundation by serving as the host sponsor for the organization's 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
Held last weekend at the Cherokee Hills Golf Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the event raised critical funds to provide higher educational scholarships to deserving Native youth.
Building on the success of the inaugural tournament in 2023, which awarded an impressive $20,000 in scholarships, this year's event promises to make an even greater impact.
The Lindy Waters III Foundation is dedicated to empowering Native American youth and Indigenous communities through a variety of programs focused on sports, health and wellness, and leadership development. By providing scholarships, the foundation creates a platform for individual growth, opportunity, and exposure, ensuring a brighter future for these deserving students.
"We were honored to serve once again as the host sponsor for this amazing cause," said Sarah Sharp-Wangaard, Hibbett's VP of Marketing. "We at Hibbett are committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and the Lindy Waters III Foundation's mission of supporting Native youth through education is one we wholeheartedly believe in. We'd like to extend our thanks to Nike, N7, and of course, Lindy Waters himself, for partnering with us on this incredible event."
The Lindy Waters III Foundation is a beacon of hope for Native American youth, and Hibbett is proud to play a role in its continued success. Together, we can ensure that all young people have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
