I Got Next - Feat. Chet Holmgren & the Nike KD17

Kevin Durant is no rookie, and neither is his signature basketball shoe line with Nike. As the collection enters its 17th season, KD is looking to the next generation of basketball greatness, Chet Holmgren, as the player to fill his shoes next.

Oklahoma City Thunder Center-Forward Chet Holmgren may just be in his first year in the league, but he is already making a name for himself among the ranks of NBA greats like Kevin Durant. To echo Durant himself, "Ok Rookie, we see you!"

Even though he follows in the footsteps of legends, Chet's walking his own path.

This NBA season, Holmgren played all 82 games, and while some ballers use the court as an opportunity to showcase their expansive collection of basketball shoes and colorways, the former Gonzaga player kept his kicks consistent. His preferred performance shoe: The Nike KD16, but not for long.

Chet, and his basketball idol Kevin Durant, will take to the courts during the NBA Playoffs in the newest iteration of the Nike KD basketball line, the Nike KD17.

What to Expect From the KD17
The debut colorway of the Nike KD17 launches on May 17.
Speed and Comfort
A big forefoot Air Zoom unit offers a different level of velocity, either on the run or out of a standstill position. It offers snappy pop when the game revs up. Springy foam helps you stay fresh 'til the final buzzer.
Cushioned and Supportive
The bottom layer of the upper has Nike Air cushioning at the heel to add a pop in your step. We put a strong plastic piece at the forefoot to help keep you supported.
Cut Quickly
The outsole pattern looks like a topographical map, with an array of contoured ridges that bend and deflect in multiple directions to provide traction for every move.
Stable for the Court
A supportive piece under the arch adds stability.
