Since its creation in 2009, the Nike N7 Fund has presented more than $8 million in grants to over 270 organizations through their Black Community Commitment, the Los Angeles Homeboy Industries effort and the Inclusive Communities investment program. Through the Nike N7 initiative, the Swoosh works with organizations worldwide to address inequality issues and invest in more inclusive and active communities. Its hope is to be part of creating a future where everyone can thrive. 

Additionally, Nike has partnered with other well-known subsidiary brands, such as Converse, which has its finger on the pulse of gang rehabilitation in L.A. The Jordan brand also stepped up with an additional $100 million to promote a more just and equitable society for Black Americans. 

Plus, the Nike Inclusive Community investment program — a part of the Nike N7 initiative — supports North American nonprofits working to promote equality in communities. Represented by Nike’s eight North American-based partners, which are collectively recognized as NikeUNITED, this program supports not only Black and Native American communities but also Asian American, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islanders, LGBTQIA+, and veterans and military.
