HIBBETT MILITARY DISCOUNT PROGRAM
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
These Hibbett Military Discount Program Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Hibbett Military Discount Program ("Program"). The Program is offered by Hibbett Retail, Inc. ("Hibbett," "we," "our," or "us").
By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms, which include the Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Wavier provisions in Section 17.
1. Eligibility
The Program is available to eligible:
- Active-duty members of the United States Armed Forces;
- Members of Reserve components of the United States Armed Forces;
- Veterans honorably discharged from military service; and
- Members of Gold Star families, as determined by Hibbett and its verification provider.
Dependents of active-duty members of the United States Armed Forces, members of Reserve components of the United States Armed Forces, or Veterans are not eligible, with the exception of dependents who are gold star recipient family members.
Eligibility must be verified through Hibbett's designated verification process.
Participation does not create any contractual right to future discounts, benefits, or continued eligibility.
2. Verification
To receive the military discount, participants must successfully complete verification through Hibbett's designated verification provider, SheerID, or through another verification method approved by Hibbett.
Hibbett reserves the right to:
- Request additional documentation;
- Reverify eligibility at any time;
- Deny eligibility where sufficient proof is not provided;
- Suspend or revoke verification status; and
- Terminate participation due to suspected fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, or misuse (including but not limited to reseller activity or bulk purchases).
Verification approval does not guarantee eligibility for future transactions.
A single successful verification produces a single coupon code. If a verification is completed successfully online, the resulting coupon code may be used only for an online purchase. If a verification is completed successfully in store, the resulting coupon code may be used only for an in-store purchase.
Each coupon code may be used only for a single transaction.
3. Military Discount Benefit
Verified participants will receive a Redemption Code that may be entered by the verified participant in order to receive a military discount of 10% on eligible merchandise purchases made on Hibbett.com, Kidshibbett.com, a Hibbett Mobile Application, or an in-store transaction. Each Redemption Code may be used only for a single transaction.
The discount:
- Applies only to qualifying merchandise;
- Is calculated before taxes and applicable fees;
- Has no cash value; and
- Is subject to these Terms and any additional restrictions communicated by Hibbett.
Not all products, brands, stores, sales channels, or transactions will qualify.
3.1 Discount Limits
Hibbett reserves the right, without notice, to establish and modify purchase limits applicable to the Program, including:
- Maximum discount amounts per transaction or verification;
- Maximum discount amounts per day, month, or calendar year;
- Maximum quantities of eligible products;
- Maximum transaction values; and
- Product-specific purchase limitations.
Transactions exceeding established limits may be denied, modified, cancelled, or excluded from the Program.
Maximum amount of Military Discount per transaction or verification is $100.
Hibbett may apply limits on a per-customer, per-account, per-household, per-payment method, per-address, or other basis determined by Hibbett in its sole discretion.
Military Discount may not be applied to previous purchases.
For online purchases (Hibbett.com, Kidshibbett.com, or any Hibbett App), including any purchase for delivery or any Buy Online Pick Up in Store (BOPIS), limit of five (5) Redemption Codes per eligible person in any rolling sixty (60) day period, subject to verification via the SheerID platform.
For store purchases, limit of ten (10) Redemption Codes per eligible person in any rolling thirty (30) day period, subject to verification via the SheerID platform.
4. Excluded Merchandise and Transactions
Unless otherwise expressly authorized by Hibbett, the military discount does not apply to:
- Clearance Merchandise;
- Gift cards;
- Prior purchases;
- Shipping and handling charges;
- Taxes and governmental fees;
- Warranty or protection plans;
- Service charges;
- Purchases made for resale;
- Bulk purchases;
- Commercial purchases;
- Marketplace or third-party seller products;
- Limited-release products;
- Select Launch products;
- Raffle products;
- Draw-based release products;
- Select premium footwear, apparel, and accessories;
- Products subject to vendor restrictions; or
- Any other products designated by Hibbett as excluded.
Hibbett reserves the right to modify excluded products and categories at any time without notice.
4.1 Vendor-Restricted Merchandise
The military discount does not apply to merchandise that Hibbett is prohibited from discounting under vendor, supplier, licensing, distribution, promotional, or other commercial agreements.
Examples may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- NIKE products;
- Jordan Brand products;
- Premium athletic footwear;
- Limited-edition merchandise;
- Exclusive products;
- Collaboration products;
- Select launch products; and
- Other merchandise identified by Hibbett from time to time.
Eligibility for the military discount is determined at the time of purchase and may change without notice.
4.2 Release and Launch Products
The military discount may not be used in connection with:
- Product launches;
- Product raffles;
- Product drawings;
- Exclusive access programs;
- First-come, first-served release events;
- Limited allocation events; or
- Similar promotional release mechanisms administered by Hibbett, vendors, or business partners.
Participation in a release event does not guarantee eligibility for a military discount.
5. Personal Use Only
The Program is intended solely for the personal use of the verified participant specifically authorized by Hibbett after verification.
The discount:
- Is non-transferable;
- May not be sold, assigned, or exchanged;
- May not be shared with unauthorized individuals;
- May not be used for commercial purposes;
- May not be used in connection with resale activity; and
- May not be used to purchase merchandise on behalf of third parties for compensation or profit.
6. Combination with Other Offers
Unless expressly permitted by Hibbett, the military discount may not be combined with:
- Coupon offers;
- Promotional codes;
- Employee discounts;
- Team or organizational discounts;
- Loyalty reward redemptions;
- Other percentage-off promotions; or
- Any offer designated as non-combinable.
Where multiple discounts may apply, Hibbett may determine, in its sole discretion, which discount or promotion will apply.
7. Online Purchases
For eligible online purchases:
- The participant must have received a coupon code via email following successful verification;
- The discount may only be applied to eligible items in the shopping cart; and
- Technical issues, verification interruptions, or system errors may affect discount availability.
Hibbett is not responsible for failed transactions resulting from third-party verification providers, internet outages, or technical malfunctions.
Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS)
For BOPIS transactions, eligibility for the military discount is determined at the time the order is submitted and verified.
Hibbett reserves the right to modify, remove, reverse, or deny a discount where:
- Eligibility cannot be verified;
- Merchandise becomes ineligible prior to fulfillment;
- A pricing, inventory, system, or technical error occurred; or
- The transaction otherwise violates these Terms.
8. Returns and Exchanges
Items purchased using the military discount remain subject to Hibbett's then-current return policy.
For eligible returns:
- Refunds will be issued in the amount actually paid after application of the discount;
- Discounts used during the original purchase will not be refunded as cash or store credit; and
- Exchanges are subject to product availability and applicable pricing at the time of exchange.
9. Fraud, Abuse, and Program Misuse
Hibbett reserves the right to monitor participation in the Program.
Examples of prohibited conduct include:
- Providing false verification information;
- Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional discounts;
- Sharing verification credentials;
- Circumventing purchase limits;
- Manipulating transactions to increase discount benefits;
- Purchasing merchandise for resale or otherwise making bulk purchase as determined in Hibbett’s sole discretion; or
- Engaging in conduct that undermines the intended operation of the Program.
9.1 Reseller Activity
The Program is intended solely for personal use by eligible military participants.
Reseller activity is prohibited. Indicators of prohibited reseller activity may include:
- Repetitive purchases of identical merchandise;
- High-volume purchasing activity;
- Purchasing patterns inconsistent with normal personal use;
- Multiple transactions intended to evade Program limitations;
- Use of multiple accounts, shipping addresses, payment methods, or verification credentials; or
- Other conduct suggesting inventory diversion or commercial activity.
Hibbett may determine, in its sole discretion, whether reseller activity exists. If Hibbett determines that reseller activity exists, Hibbett may, in its sole discretion, deny eligibility, terminate participation, or take any other action listed in Section 9.2 of these Terms.
9.2 Order Cancellation Rights
Hibbett reserves the right, without prior notice, to:
- Reject any order;
- Cancel any order;
- Refuse to honor any discount;
- Restrict future participation;
- Suspend or terminate Program participation; and
- Reverse discounts improperly obtained.
Hibbett may take such action where it reasonably believes any of the following, or instead for any reason or no reason:
- Fraudulent activity has occurred;
- Reseller activity is occurring or intended;
- Eligibility requirements are not satisfied;
- Verification information is inaccurate or misleading;
- A pricing, inventory, or system error has occurred; or
- The transaction otherwise violates these Terms.
In the event of cancellation, Hibbett's sole obligation shall be to refund amounts actually paid by the customer.
10. Product Availability Disclaimer
Eligibility for a military discount does not guarantee:
- Product availability;
- Access to limited-release merchandise;
- Access to launch products;
- Raffle selection;
- Reservation opportunities;
- Exclusive product access;
- Preferred inventory allocation; or
- Priority purchasing rights.
The Program provides only the discount benefit described in these Terms and does not create any preferential purchasing status.
11. Privacy
Information collected in connection with verification and Program administration will be handled in accordance with Hibbett's Privacy Policy.
Participants acknowledge that information may be processed by Hibbett and its service providers for any purpose set forth in Hibbett’s Privacy Policy:
- Verification of identity and military status;
- Fraud prevention;
- Program administration;
- Customer support; and
- Legal compliance.
12. Modification or Termination of the Program
Hibbett reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:
- Modify these Terms;
- Change discount percentages;
- Change eligibility requirements;
- Add or remove exclusions;
- Establish or revise purchase limitations;
- Suspend the Program; or
- Terminate the Program
at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Hibbett’s Terms of Use and other terms or publications
Hibbett’s Terms of Use apply. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Program Terms, the Terms of Use, or any other terms, Hibbett reserves the right to interpret and apply the applicable terms in a manner that it deems reasonable in its sole discretion. Additionally, these Program Terms and the Terms of Use shall control over any conflicting statements contained in advertisements, FAQs, emails, social media posts, or other Program-related communications.
14. Disclaimer
The Program is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Hibbett does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of:
- The Program;
- Verification services;
- Discount functionality;
- Website or mobile application functionality; or
- Product eligibility.
15. Limitation of Liability
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL HIBBETT BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM ANY ASPECT OF YOUR USE OF THE PROGRAM, WHETHER THE DAMAGES ARISE FROM USE OR MISUSE OF THE PROGRAM, FROM INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM, OR THE INTERRUPTION, SUSPENSION, MODIFICATION, ALTERATION, OR TERMINATION OF THE PROGRAM. SUCH LIMITATION SHALL ALSO APPLY WITH RESPECT TO DAMAGES INCURRED BY REASON OF OTHER SERVICES OR PRODUCTS RECEIVED THROUGH OR ADVERTISED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM OR ANY LINKS ON THE COMPANY’S WEBSITE. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent superseded by applicable federal law.
17. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIM MUST BE RESOLVED THROUGH ARBITRATION. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY. RIGHTS THAT YOU WOULD HAVE IF YOU WENT TO COURT, SUCH AS DISCOVERY OR THE RIGHT TO APPEAL, MAY BE MORE LIMITED OR MAY NOT EXIST. YOU AGREE THAT YOU MAY ONLY BRING A CLAIM IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU ALSO AGREE THAT THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE PROCEEDINGS OR CLAIMS OR OTHERWISE PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF A REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING. ANY CLAIM THAT ALL OR PART OF THIS CLASS ACTION WAIVER IS UNENFORCEABLE, UNCONSCIONABLE, VOID, OR VOIDABLE MAY BE DETERMINED ONLY BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION AND NOT BY AN ARBITRATOR. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OPT-OUT OF THIS ARBITRATION PROVISION WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM SIGN-UP OR ATTEMPTED SIGN-UP FOR THE PROGRAM (WHICHEVER IS FIRST) BY WRITING TO: HIBBETT RETAIL, INC., 2700 MILAN COURT, BIRMINGHAM, AL 35211, ATTN: LEGAL DEPT. ANY SUCH WRITING MUST BE SENT TO HIBBETT VIA U.S. CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED.
18. General
No waiver of any of the provisions of these Terms shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provisions. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Terms, which shall otherwise remain in full force and effect. The Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hibbett and govern your use of the Program.
