Reebok Shoes

If you’re looking for a shoe to inspire your training and take your physical abilities to the next level, there’s one brand for you: Reebok.

For generations, Reebok shoes have defined what it means to go the extra mile and push your athleticism to the limit. At Hibbett, we offer a comprehensive selection of modern and classic Reebok shoes in men's, women’s and kids’ sizes designed to inspire athletes of all ages.

History in the Making

While officially founded in 1958 by the Foster brothers, Reebok was born of family tradition. The British brothers’ grandfather had been producing athletic footwear since the late 1800s, even creating one of the first-ever track spikes. In keeping with the familial heritage, the Reebok company continued producing track spikes and athletic shoes. In the late 70s, Reebok jumped over the pond and quickly became a hit in North America, turning the corner into the era of big, bold sneakers — the 1980s.

During the decade of jazzercise and aerobic fitness videos, Reebok shoes turned the sneaker industry on its head. Not only did the brand pioneer the concept of shoes built for specific body types, but Reebok was also the first company to introduce athletic shoes for women, like the Freestyle, in the early 1980s. And then there was the "Pump," the game-changing shoe featuring an air bladder located in the tongue to provide on-the-court ankle stability — and a bit of marketing buzz. In the mid-’90s, Allen Iverson’s Reebok Question sneakers made a huge splash, too, followed by the Reebok Answer.

In 1992 the iconic vector logo was introduced alongside the “drop-R” wordmark to give Reebok a unified presence and voice. The vector has been dynamic at the intersection of fitness, lifestyle and fashion and has been linked to some of Reebok’s greatest cultural moments.

In 1986, Reebok launched a campaign “Because Life Is Not A Spectator Sport,” encouraging the brand’s enthusiasts to become active participants in the fitness world. Reebok later adapted the tagline as the brand’s slogan, emboldening people to not just let life happen to them, but to be involved every step of the way. The slogan became entrenched in the Reebok’s foundation, shining through in sneaker icons like Classic Leather and Question Mid, as well as celebrity partnerships with Allen Iverson and Cardi B, where creating your own story, rather than it being written for you is the mission.

Classic Styles, Modern Technology

Reebok shoes are sure to have you hitting the ground running. Whether you’re pounding the pavement, crushing a trail run or beating your basketball opponent, Reebok shoes provide a relaxed, comfortable fit while you’re pushing the pace.

The Reebok Classic Leather shoes are arguably the company’s most notable style, with soft garment leather for superior comfort and high-abrasion rubber outsoles for grip and traction.

Be on the lookout for other stylish sneakers like the Question basketball shoe, Allen Iverson’s signature kicks. These bad boys bring back the look of the legendary Philadelphia 76ers star and feature soft, tumbled nubuck, durable toe caps, debossed logos and Reebok’s signature Hexalite cushioning.

Refreshed models like the Reebok Zig Kinetica running shoe employs lighter-weight materials like a soft-shell TPU frame and a proprietary Zig Energy Web Outsole for springbuck response.

With retro classics and timeless modern shoes designed for both athletes and the casual wearer, anyone can sport a pair of Reebok sneakers. Let Hibbett help you embrace Reebok’s three pillars of positive change with a full roster of kids’, men’s and women’s Reebok shoe styles. Shop online or in our stores today.
