The Navaho-Inspired 2019 Holiday N7 x Pendleton Collection Drops Nov. 7

Nov 4, 2019

Nike N7 has once again partnered with Pendleton Woolen Mills to produce the collection’s latest line of native American-inspired footwear, apparel, and accessories – slated to drop in stores and online on November 7.

This season’s “Until We All Win” N7 lineup celebrates the 10th anniversary of the brand’s founding, incorporating Navaho-derived designs inspired by the heritage of Nike graphic designer and Navaho Indian Tracie Jackson.

Behind the Design

The collection features an elaborate storm pattern, brought to life by Pendleton, rich with deep reds, warm earth tones and streaks of yellow in honor of the American Cancer Society.

Also prominent in the Fall 2019 N7 line are vibrant streaks of turquoise, a color symbolic of family community in Native American and Aboriginal cultures.

Other design features communicate the Navaho Nation’s dedication to bringing awareness to the natural environment and the colors and features of the Southwestern landscape.

At the core of the newest N7 pattern is the Seven Generations symbol, characterized by a centrally located diamond and three arrows on either side of it. These shapes represent three generations past, three generations future and the now.

The Seven Generations Design commemorates the messaging also shared in the N7 logo, that decisionmakers have a responsibility to consider how their choices will impact the seventh generation.

N7 “Until We All Win” Products

These elements are most predominantly displayed in the N7 x Pendleton 7 Generations blanket, the proceeds from which will benefit the American Indian College Fund.

In addition to the Pendleton blanket, five shoes are part of the November release, including N7 editions of the Nike Air Moc, a reimagined version of 2012’s N7 Free Forward Moc+; the Nike Zoom Heritage offered in dual-gender sizing; and the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 which honor of the Navaho running womanhood ceremony.

The release also features N7-branded Nike Air Force 1 ’07s painted with southwestern colors and fitted with golden suede and Nike Air Jordan 8 Retros.

“Until We All Win” apparel items include hoodies, joggers, shirts, jerseys, and leggings.

Add a little culture to your winter wardrobe with a pair of N7 men’s Club Fleece Pants, a women’s N7 Essentials Pullover, or an N7 long sleeve shooter tee. And kick up your seasonal sneakerhead game a notch with the Jordan 8 Retro N7 Pendleton Men’s shoe or the gender-inclusive N7 Nike Zoom Heritage.

Shop select styles online or in-store at your local Hibbett Sports starting November 7.

About N7

Founded in 2000 by Sam McCracken, N7 was created to promote healthier lifestyles, provide education about disease prevention and encourage involvement in sports within the Native American Community.

Though the line was available to only Native American consumers in the beginning, the brand began selling N7 products to the masses in 2009.

Today proceeds from N7 sales support the N7 Fund, which provides funding, equipment, and other support measures to clubs and organizations that offer sports and physical activities to youths in Native American and Aboriginal communities.

Since 2009, the N7 Fund has provided more than $7.5 million in grants to nearly 260 Native American organizations across the U.S. and Canada.
