Understanding the Women’s to Kids’ Shoe Formula

To complete a women’s shoe conversion, simply reduce your regular shoe size by two sizes to determine your youth fit. You can also reference a Nike youth shoe size chart vs. women’s sizes.

To properly measure and convert your big kid to women’s shoe size, you’ll need:

  • A pair of socks
  • A wall and hard-surfaced floor
  • A piece of paper that’s larger than your foot
  • A pencil or something to mark the length
  • Tape
  • Ruler

Step 1: Tape the piece of paper to the floor with its shorter side lined up against the wall.

Step 2: Put on a pair of socks you plan to wear with your shoes. Then, stand on the paper with your back and ankles against the wall.

Step 3: Mark the longest part of both feet with a pencil.

Step 4: Use the ruler to measure each foot’s length (heel to toe) and width.
