What can you tell us about female representation/inclusion in sneaker culture?

Jennifer:Women like Teyana Taylor and Lori Harvey can go from a businesswoman look, to a streetwear fashion look and turn heads when they walk in the room. They are seen on media outlets wearing hype brands and styles other women may like, especially Dunks, Retros, and UGGs.

How do you think women have impacted the typically male dominated sneakersphere in recent years?

Jennifer: Women have made a statement in society especially when it comes to leadership. This has put them on the map when it comes to fashion and streetwear. WBNA and college athletes also have stamped the fashion world especially when it comes to sneakers.

Do you have any favorite females in the sneakersphere that you look up to, are inspired by, think have a positive impact on the industry?

Jennifer: I think I’m heavily looked up to be honest, however growing up @toyafbaby was a role model for me. She was very stylish, had a bunch of kicks, ALL the new drops, she was one of the first.

What is the importance of women-inclusive sizing/colorways/etc?

Jennifer: It's very important, it keeps women in the game, giving women exclusive colorways and options not available to men or children. Help grow the culture for women sneakerheads.

What would you like to see for women in the future of sneaker culture?

Jennifer: More women’s shock drops, I’d like to see more women's athletics with signature lines available for all women or men. Also, more air max 95 & 2011 Retros from 1995-2001.
