Serving Central Alabama: Hibbett Volunteers Support Housing and Hunger Relief Efforts

This summer, Hibbett teammates rolled up their sleeves to make a difference across Central Alabama, supporting both affordable housing initiatives and food insecurity relief through hands-on volunteer service.

In June, Hibbett partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Birmingham to help build a new home in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood. Team members spent the day working alongside Habitat volunteers to support the organization’s mission of providing safe, affordable housing for low- to moderate-income families across central Alabama.

The following month, Hibbett volunteers teamed up with the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, packing 643 food boxes over two days of service. Those boxes will help provide meals to families across the region through the Food Bank’s network of more than 230 partner agencies serving 12 counties.

Through partnerships with organizations like Habitat for Humanity of Greater Birmingham and the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, Hibbett continues to support the communities it serves by helping meet critical needs and creating meaningful local impact.
