Support Her Sole - Celebrate Father's Day with Jerin Beasley

Jun 6, 2023

Hibbett and Nike are celebrating two of our favorite #girldads this Father's Day, and we are excited to welcome renowned New Orleans artist Jerin Beasley to the Support Her Sole community!

Meet #GirlDad, Jerin Beasley

Jerin "Jerk" Beasley was born and raised in New Orleans and realized his passion for art at a young age. Jerk attended a few art programs as a kid but was self taught as a teen.

Jerk cultivated and embraced his gift. He produced art for many people around the world. He's a skilled artist/business man.

Jerk eventually started painting his artwork on articles of clothes and form a company called Jerk and Jon with his childhood friend Jonathan.

After Hurricane Katrina Jerin went through a life changing experience which caused pain. The pain had eventually faded but was never forgotten. When looking at most of his art he expresses the pain with bandaids and bandages. His art is also balance with the bright side of things by using rich and vibrant colors expressing the positivity of it all. Jerk is truly a force to be reckoned with. Jerk's ideas are constantly changing and he's reinventing the face of art as we know it.

In May of 2021, Jerk unveiled his painting entitled "Jay-Z Tree of Life" that was scene at the Treehouse NOLA by Larry Morrow. The piece was eventually bought by the hip-hop icon and submitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Jerk is the #girldad to Skky, Nathalia, and Sage, and has a son, Jerin Jr.
