In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we're featuring three women in the community who are celebrating their heritage and supporting Her.
Half Puerto Rican, half Dominican, Ashley was raised by her Boricua single mother in a small 4th floor walk-up apartment in Brooklyn, NY. Her Titi Muñeca lived on the 3rd floor, Her Tio Cookie on the 2nd floor and her Abuela in the apartment building around the corner. It’s safe to say they are a tight-knit family.
Being raised in an environment of unconditional love and support from hard-working, confident Latinaswas the foundation for her own self confidence and drive. Her mission for her platforms is to provide thatsame environment for her community of followers. A safe space to feel seen, supported and loved through relatable and authentic fashion, lifestyle and beauty content.

Her outgoing personality and constant urge to want to help other women is what got her to where she is today. In high school where she was apart of a woman’s and multicultural group, as well, where she built upon her values of community and supporting women.
The experience of being around other women her age, being open about their struggles and lifting each other up through each session is where she realized her greater purpose. Eventually, she dropped out of college and founded Mujeres Social, a management agency that is highly sought after in the industry.
MS is her greatest accomplishment thus far and she prides herself on the strong knit community she has cultivated through her self-love and body positivity movement that was established as early as 2017! Her purpose has and will always be to help women love themselves while simultaneously taking back their power 🤍

A little back story of me I was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States at the age of 7 by raft. Even though I don’t remember much about my childhood in Cuba, my family has made it a point to keep our roots and traditions alive.
I love everything about being cuban, the food, the music, my traditions, our loud voices, EVERYTHING about it is what makes me, me. It inspires me on the daily and I hope to one day pass it all down to the next generation. I now get to connect and inspire women from all over the world and share my love for fashion, beauty and real life struggles and I don’t take my job lightly. If you have been here with me from the beginning or if you are just now finding me, I want to say thank you. Without you, this would have not been possible. I hope I get to continue creating memories and sharing my life with you all for as long as you would have me!
I hope a small very condensed version of my story inspires you and just know that if I, a girl who came to this country not even speaking the language can achieve her dreams, YOU CAN TO! I keep my platforms as authentic and relatable as possible and I think my audience appreciates it. I encourage you to follow along for the journey!
