Iconic Design Hits the Air Jordan 4 Retro Tour Yellow
The word "iconic" may be overused, but that's the best way to describe the Air Jordan 4. First released in 1989 and designed by Nike legend Tinker Hatfield, two generations of sneakerheads have proudly worn these big-tongued shoes with a chunky silhouette, brash mesh and Jumpman branding.
The modern entrants to the Air Jordan 4 collection aren't stuck in the past, though. The "Tour Yellow" colorway, with a velvety yellow nubuck upper, sharp gray detailing and black mesh, offers a loud, in-your-face look. No wonder this shoe has already picked up the nickname "Lightning."
Beyond the flashy appearance, Jordan 4s are basketball shoes designed to be comfortable, tough and durable. They work as hard in everyday life as they do on the court. The bold, black mesh keeps the shoes breathable, while the visible Air-sole unit adds extra impact resistance to protect your feet. Premium Nike materials and craftsmanship mean they're ready for all you and your kids' adventures.
The Jordan 4 "Lightning" comes in boys' infant (1-10), toddler (11-3.5), and grade school (3.5-7) sizes as well as men's sizes (7.5-18). You'll find all available sizes at Hibbett on launch day.
