The Jordan 2 Retro "Soft Pink" women's shoe drops September 9 4 at Hibbett | City Gear!

Fall is just around the corner, which means we're closer than ever to Jordan Brand's stellar lineup of autumn releases. One such release puts a feminine spin on the AJ 2, originally designed by Bruce Kilgore and Peter Moore.

The Jordan 2 Retro "Soft Pink" also uses Muslin, Gym Red and Summit White to create a casual shoe that's delicate and dainty. Unsurprisingly, this pastel colorway will be available just in women's sizes, starting Sept. 9.

A white, woven canvas upper looks crisp and clean, especially with the dotted half circle of ventilation holes that line the toe box and midfoot. Across the side panel is a white suede overlay outlined in pale pink fabric.

This pale pink outline is a motif, as it also lines the collar and ankle, which rise up high to protect your heel. The heel also includes a Soft Pink overlay with signature accordion-style shapes. It turns to Muslin at the bottom.

White grommets keep things simple, and they help the white laces strap up over the white tongue. We can't quite see the tongue branding in preview photos, but it looks as if we'll be privy to some OG Air Jordan logos. Another new feature on this shoe is the molded sock liner.

A Muslin outsole wraps uniformly around the shoe with only slight narrowing at the toe. Under that is a gray and pink rubber outsole that'll help you keep a grip while strutting your stuff.

Today, you wouldn't wear this signature MJ basketball shoe on the court — but that's just as well because it looks even better with jeans. Throw on your favorite high-waisted denim and a pale pink crop top, and you'll look ready to take on the world.
