These new lifestyle sneakers rely on three main principles: motion, comfort and energy — to the max. The Dynamic Air unit comprises two sets of dual-pressure tubes that run from one side of the midsole to the other. Each set has varying pressure levels, with the more firm Air at the heel. The pressure effect gives smooth transitions because the Air shifts slightly as you move throughout your day. You get even more boost from the plush foam that surrounds the Dynamic Air.
The upper of the sneakers relies on lightweight and breathable multilayered mesh with a dimensional print. This textural effect is both playful and futuristic while keeping feet extra comfy and enhancing the upper durability. Added visual appeal comes from the Air Max Dn branding on the insole, heel and tongue tag.
The shoe isn’t all flashy aesthetics and futuristic Air, though. A TPU midfoot shank, matte accents, a classic lacing system and a rubber outsole help ground the Nike sneaker. And energy return comes by way of “performance-level bounce to energize your every move,” according to Nike.
The best part of the whole package? The shoes are a part of Nike’s Move to Zero journey, meaning the brand uses recycled materials such as plastic, yarn and textiles to create the Air Max Dns. Doing so helps the company work toward a zero-carbon, zero-waste future.
The Nike Air Max Dn "Particle Grey", in both men's and grade school kids' sizing, will release on May 3 at Hibbett. Download the mobile app for the latest release updates and to enter up the raffle at up to three store locations.
