Devin Booker gave us the Nike Book 1 at the beginning of 2024. Two years later, he and Nike are following it up with the Nike Book 2, outdoing themselves once again. 

For this new shoe, the colorways draw inspiration from Booker’s connection to Arizona and the scorching desert. The new design and dazzling colorways drop on January 16th. These striking shoes are bringing the heat to winter 2026 and cementing Booker’s status as a cultural icon. 

Valley Roots, Bold Energy: Inside the “Phoenix” Color Story

The Nike Book 2 “Phoenix” sneakers are impossible to resist. This fierce design features a myriad of tangerine orange and coral hues that swirl around in an ombre design. The shoe is bright and fiery, while still being elegantly simple. The hottest part is the Nike Swoosh, which features flame graphics that bring the design to life. 

This fiery spirit is inspired by Devin Booker’s team, the Phoenix Suns. The shoe resembles a heroic phoenix rising from the ashes. While the Nike Book 1 shoes come in the reddish-orange “Sedona” colorway, this new Nike Book 2 colorway turns the heat up a few notches. 

The combination of sundial yellow and medium orange creates a vibrancy that rivals Booker’s star power on and off the court. Like the Nike Book 1 basketball shoe, this new design embodies Booker’s collected and thoughtful playing style. He’s not afraid to push his team, but always stays strategic and focused.
