The 2024 Nike KD 4 “Aunt Pearl” is a faithful recreation of the original 2012 design. A design detail you can't miss are the pearl accents on the ankles and tongues, which add a touch of elegance. Where the ankle strap connects to this side of this shoe, you’ll see two names printed—Tia and Tina. The medial side is especially covered in lifelike pearl imagery. Pink mesh lateral side panels help your foot breathe.
On the heel, you’ll see the continuation of pearls, as well as oversized KD branding in black. This KD branding appears again on the pink insole.
Rounding out the design is a special upside-down Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon on the tongues that represents both Aunt Pearl and Kay Yow, a women's basketball coach who also died from cancer.
All of this sits atop a pink midsole that transitions into a translucent pink rubber outsole.
The Nike KD 4 “Aunt Pearl” will be available in men’s sizes on October 25, just in time to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
