A Laser Orange knitted upper gives this shoe a very summer feel — almost like it's made out of sunshine. It's interwoven with dark blue threads throughout for a slight contrast.
A dark blue Swoosh outlined in neon green flies across the lateral side panel. It's almost 3D in its appearance, as the pointy tip of the Swoosh actually comes off the back of the heel. Under this is a slightly offset dark pink Swoosh outlined in black threading. This pink Swoosh repeats on the medial side, without the dark blue top layer.
Laser Orange laces include a silver XX lace dubrae as well as a lime green XX thread motif at the top. The Laser Orange tongue doesn't have any contrasting branding — just the embedded imprint of LeBron's signature.
At the heel, you'll note a dark blue patch with King James' personal logo. Beneath this, the white midsole wraps around the shoe. An orange heel clip adds additional support for all your on-court moves.
Finally, a lilac rubber outsole features a map-like tread that's perfect for standing your ground on the hardwood.
Lead designer Jason Petrie's inspiration for these basketball shoes was the rising of the next generation. While LeBron certainly isn't done yet — as this year's conference finals playoff run showcased — there are plenty of up-and-coming stars looking to make their own name for themselves, and the XX can help them. If you're part of that crew, pair these kicks with your favorite threads, such as white crew socks, navy basketball shorts and an orange jersey.
The Nike LeBron 20 in Laser Orange will be a welcome addition to any baller's sneaker lineup. Add them to yours when you grab them in men's sizes on June 8, online or at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
These shoes are likely to sell out fast, so if you weren't able to grab your size, follow our sneaker launch calendar to find another LeBron release coming soon.
