The Nike Air VaporMax 2023 Flyknit "Baltic Blue" drops in men's sizes June 7 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Since its inception in 2017, the Nike Air VaporMax has been a solid contender in the running shoe field. The same is true of the new 2023 update that's dropping this spring and summer.

One of these updated silhouettes will be the Nike VaporMax 23 Flyknit in Baltic Blue, Cintron Tiny and Green Abyss. This stunner of a shoe is bright, bold and perfect for breaking in this spring as you train for your next marathon. Mark your calendars for May 18 — that's when this kick drops in men's sizes.

The woven Flyknit upper is primarily bright blue, with small touches of hot pink embedded in the threading. A painted-on lime green Swoosh covers both side panels, a contrast made in heaven.

White laces also stand out against the blue background, much like white clouds in the sky. The tongue includes a darker blue VaporMax patch with a white font.

The ankle padding is a fuzzy lighter lime green that will cradle your feet on long runs. The insole is a multicolor mix of polka dots with a black Nike Pinwheel logo that signifies this shoe is made partly of recycled materials.

The same hearty Baltic Blue shade also covers the heel, which has a small overlay featuring more VaporMax branding. There's also a heel tab of the same color.

Below all of this is a translucent lime green midsole mated to an outsole of the same shade. It features a full-length VaporMax unit that gives you the precise amount of Air you need—no more and no less. The bubble-like sole gives this kick an almost other-worldly appearance.

Wearing a running shoe this bold is great for visibility on your runs. You may want to match your outfit as well by trying neon lime running shorts and a hot pink tank. At the very least, go for some fun neon socks if neon threads aren't your game.
