Puma All-Pro Nitro "Scoot Henderson" Launching 06/22 Colorway: RED/BLUE Style: Men's Shoe

Release Date: June 22, 2023

Jun 12, 2023

The Puma All-Pro Nitro "Scoot Henderson" released on June 22, and if you missed your chance on release day, you can grab a pair now.

You may not know the name Scoot Henderson yet, but you will. He was one of the youngest players to ever sign with the NBA G League Ignite, when he was still a high school junior at Carlton J. Kell High School. The two-year, $1 million deal is up this year, and Scoot is projected to be a top-three pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

But perhaps even more noteworthy is Scoot's deal with PUMA. At the age of 18, he signed a multi-year endorsement deal reportedly worth seven figures annually — the highest amount of any non-draft-eligible player. Talk about a big shot!

Finally, we're about to see the fruits of that partnership. The Puma All-Pro Nitro "Scoot Henderson" is the duo's first release together, and it's meant to be a tribute to the Marietta Diner in Scoot's hometown. With a mix of red, blue and checkerboard coloring, it'll have you racing to stores on June 22 to grab it in men's sizes.

In past interviews, Scoot has named red as a favorite color, which is perhaps why the upper here is a reddish-orange. Two blue lines wave across both the medial and lateral sides, almost like a calm wave across a still lake. Beneath these on the heel of the lateral side is blue All-Pro branding. It's definitely reminiscent of the Marietta Diner's neon signage.

The heel is where you'll notice some fun details. A black and white checkboard pattern covers the back of the shoe. The heel branding includes an orange circle with a white Puma logo in the center, as well as additional white branding beneath.

Salmon-colored laces strap up over a black tongue, which includes more orangeish branding at the top. The oversized midsole — which seems to take up half of the shoe — features a slightly wavy texture. Finally, the translucent outsole wraps up the shoe at the midfoot and forefoot for additional traction no matter which direction you're going.

Styling this basketball shoe all depends on your level of game. It would look amazing with matching blue crew socks and other neon-inspired basketball threads. You could even be an uber-fan and snag a Henderson Ignite jersey to wear with it.

The Puma All-Pro Nitro "Scoot Henderson" is Henderson's introduction to sneaker society, and we think it'll be one of the biggest debuts in some time. Prepare to grab your pair in men's sizes when this drops on Draft Day, June 22, online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear.

If you were too busy watching Henderson get drafted to order your sneakers and your size is sold out, don't fret. Follow our sneaker launch calendar to find the next Scoot x Puma style before it drops.
