A palette of Dark Smoke Grey and silver dresses the new grade school kids’ Nike VaporMax 2019 sneaker, along with multicolor and black hits. This futuristic kids’ shoe features a highly visible heel-to-toe VaporMax Air cushioning for a super-bouncy stride. Whether your grade-schooler is recording a Tik Tok video, riding bikes or running across the pavement, the shoe’s iridescent details shimmer and shine as they move.
The design of the VaporMax 2019 plays on the Air Max heritage with more lightweight flexibility than ever before. The VaporMax kids’ sneaker provides such a smooth ride that they’ll feel like they’re walking in the clouds.
While previous VaporMax editions used Flyknit material, the 2019 version gets an upper upgraded with Nexkin. Layers of this stretchy, woven material offer a trifecta of durable, breathable, lightweight fit.
Instrumental to the shoe’s all-day support is a redesigned internal cage that wraps around the midfoot and a bigger TPU heel clip. Other notable features of the VaporMax 2019 include a TPU-coated Air unit, which gives the sneaker a unique, iridescent finish that appears transparent when held up to light.
A “grippy” rubber outsole grounds the foot on any surface — whether it’s the hardcourt, the grass or the track. Generously sized heel pull tabs make this shoe easy to put on and take off. Meanwhile, subtle VaporMax branding plays out along the upper, and a traditional-sized Nike Swoosh appears on the shoe’s sides.
