1989 was a big year for Jordan Brand. It's the year Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 4—a shoe that lives on today thanks to Michael Jordan's legacy.

Now, 35 years later, we're still seeing fun new releases of this sneakerhead favorite. The new Jordan 4 Retro "White and Gold" features a mix of Sail, Metallic Gold, and White that ups the luxe factor. This style drops in women's sizes on March 9.

The white premium leather upper looks clean and fresh. But the real star of the shoe is the Metallic Gold accents scattered throughout the kick. Bright and shiny golden waffle eyelets hold the crisp white laces snugly in place across the tongue. They're almost like tiny gold chains for your feet.

The rest of the shoe's details are familiarly monochromatic. The ankle support wing that attaches to the top eyelet is white, as is the side panel netting underneath.
