It’s almost time for the 2023 NFL Draft, and that means excitement is right around the corner. Let’s prep for the big day with a sneak peak at the top 2023 NFL Draft prospects and a review of the current NFL draft order. Also, don’t forget to get the proper NFL gear to rep your favorite team. Where and When to Watch the Draft
The completion of the NFL Scouting Combine on March 6 brings us one step closer to the 2023 NFL Draft on April 27-29 in Kansas City, Missouri (home of the world champion Chiefs). The first round commences on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. The second and third rounds take place on Friday at 7 p.m. ET, with Saturday’s final rounds starting at noon. Wondering where to watch? The NFL Network, ABC and ESPN will broadcast the event for your football-viewing pleasure.
Current NFL Draft Order
The first three picks for the 2023 NFL Draft belong to the Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals, all of who have pressing needs on both sides of the ball. The Panthers and Texans will be shopping for a quarterback, while the Cardinals will have an eye out for an edge rusher.
Draft Picks to Watch For
Bryce Young from Alabama is at the top of the PFF Big Board. This 5-foot-10 starting quarterback may lack height, but he makes up for it in skill, playing the position better than anyone else in his class. Jalen Carter, the No. 2 PFF-ranking player and Georgia’s 6’3”, 300-pound defensive lineman, is among the best defensive tackle prospects PFF has ever graded. Moving down to the third spot, Alabama’s Will Anderson Jr. is an impactful, every-down edge that accumulated 200 pressures during three collegiate seasons. Suffice it to say, there’s a load of talent among the NFL Draft prospects for 2023.
