Sneaker Release: Nike Air Vapormax 95 “Black/Grey/Volt” Men’s Shoe
Want mid-90s sneaker style with cutting-edge technology that’s as relevant as ever? You’ll find all that in the men’s Nike Air VaporMax 95 shoe in the Black, Grey and Volt colorway. This latest release offers shades of grey layered with black, accented with the neon Volt color. And it’s available in men’s sizes from 8 to 16, at Hibbett Sports, a leading sports and sneaker retailer.
The low-top VaporMax shoe draws its inspiration from the Air Max 95, which debuted in 1995 by iconic Nike designer Sergio Lozano. Like the Air Max sneakers, the VaporMax footwear also mimics the human form—look closely and you can see the shapes of a spine and ribs along the shoe’s upper.
The VaporMax shoe, however, relies on a VaporMax Air unit as a full-length elastic outsole in place of a traditional foam midsole. It’s that unit, which gives springy cushioning underfoot while reducing the weight of the sneaker. The VaporMax technology is on full display with its two-toned colorblocking, capped with integrated lugs that offer the wearer aggressive traction and stability.
With the Nike VaporMax 95 men’s shoe, you get the choice of two uppers: One is synthetic suede with reflective accents; the other, leather with synthetic suede. Both options feature reflective hits on the tongue overlay and the heel. Find Volt coloring at the shoe’s eyestays, outsole and on the swoosh.
