We keep seeing ’90s reruns throughout fashion and pop culture, and the latest Nike shoe brings more of that sweet 1990s nostalgia. Meet the Nike Air Barrage Mid Trainers, available at Hibbett Sports this August in a Black, White and Cabana colorway. The Barrage Mid first came into being in the 90s, worn by big-time football players back in the day.
Love a layered look? The Nike Air Barrage Mid gives you that cool multi-layered effect with a blend of leather, suede and mesh. There’s nothing even slightly subtle about this shoe; these are serious trainers. The white and black interplay on the upper, midsole and outsole, and gets hits of the aqua Cabana color on the shoe’s branding. Meanwhile, the bold AIR letters on the shoe’s midsole throw it back to retro Nike silhouettes. Find several swooshes in varying sizes scattered around the shoe, too.
