Meet the Nike LeBron 17‘s latest colorway — a star-studded “Constellations” pattern of deep Royal Blue and Game Royal hues, black, Vapor Green and white.

This space-age sneaker lands August 15, just in time for back to school. And while the world below may be uncertain, the night sky remains constant and ever-watchful.

Ideal for kids of all ages, the Nike LeBron 17 “Constellations” sneaker will be available in toddler, preschool and grade school kids’ sizes, perfect for indoor learning and outdoor play.

The fan-favorite LeBron 17 brings more Air underfoot than previous iterations of LeBron James’ sneakers for all-day cushioned comfort. Nike designer Jason Petrie incorporated an oversized Max Air unit in the heel, visible Zoom Air in the forefoot and lateral and medial Air Zoom pods beneath the forefoot. These elements contribute to the overall fit, feel and responsiveness of the sneaker.

While comfort is a given, so too is foot-hugging stability that supports younger kids with less-steady footfalls. The shoe’s Knitposite upper employs heat-molded yarns that enhance the integrity of the shoe’s structure while offering breathability. With the “Constellations” release, the upper pattern is especially breathtaking. A constellation of LeBron’s plays crawl up the shoe’s black throat, zigging and zagging with a directional night-sky pattern of “fast breaks,” “post-ups” and “buzzer-beaters.”

A stretchable knit dresses the toe box in a blurry pattern blending white, black and blue. The stiff upper sides come in black, adorned with rich, swirling blues that mimic the surface of celestial bodies. Like a breath of fresh air, or perhaps a touch of stardust, the shoe’s Swoosh and midsole area has a whisper of Vapor Green that fades to a blue-speckled black. Icy blue appears on the sneaker’s outsole, with its webbed pattern designed to grip any surface.
