Forever Kings: Hibbett Atlanta Elite Takes the Crown in LA

Dec 20, 2025

The Hibbett Atlanta Elite team showed up and showed out in Los Angeles for the LeBron Forever Kings Experience, delivering a weekend that was about far more than basketball. It was about legacy, leadership, and living up to the standard set by one of the greatest to ever do it.

The Forever King 3-on-3 Tournament brought together some of the biggest names in sports retail and athletic culture—Foot Locker, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Nike, and Hibbett—for a single-elimination showdown featuring six teams from six major cities: Akron, Atlanta, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and Houston. With pride on the line and greatness as the expectation, every game mattered.

Hibbett’s journey to the championship started strong. In round one, the Atlanta squad faced off against the Houston Dick’s Sporting Goods team and secured a decisive win, punching their ticket to the finals. Waiting for them? The New York Nike team. With composure, chemistry, and confidence, Hibbett closed out the tournament with another win—earning the championship and cementing Atlanta’s place at the top.

But the Forever Kings Experience wasn’t just about wins and losses. Inspired by the legacy of LeBron James, the weekend emphasized excellence with purpose—on and off the court. The athletes were treated like champions from start to finish, fully outfitted by Nike for the entire weekend and gifted custom letterman jackets to commemorate the experience.

Giving back was a major part of the journey. The team participated in a powerful community activation with the local YMCA, mentoring young athletes and paying it forward—embodying the leadership and community focus LeBron continues to champion. They also attended a championship game at Sierra Canyon High School, a LeBron Chosen 1 school known for elite preparation, culture, and opportunity.

After competing in the ultimate 3-on-3 tournament and bringing home the championship, the weekend wrapped with an elite spa experience centered on recovery and longevity—another pillar of LeBron’s long-standing greatness.

Congratulations to the five Hibbett store associates who represented the brand, the city of Atlanta, and the Forever King mindset with pride:
