Hibbett and PUMA Continue Annual Holiday Support for Children’s of Alabama

Dec 23, 2025

On December 17, Hibbett and PUMA representatives visited Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham, one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the country, to present a $20,000 financial gift and more than 1,300 items to support the hospital's Sugar Plum shop and Care Closet this holiday season.

At Hibbett, giving back to the communities we serve is part of who we are. This holiday season, we continued that commitment alongside PUMA with our sixth annual holiday donation to Children’s of Alabama, one of the nation’s leading pediatric medical centers.

On Wednesday, December 17, Hibbett and PUMA associates visited the Children’s of Alabama campus to deliver $20,000 in financial support and more than 2,000 essential items for patients and families receiving care. The donation included footwear, apparel, toys, and comfort items that will be distributed through the hospital’s Social Services team to help families focus on what matters most during their stay.

Children’s of Alabama serves hundreds of thousands of patients each year, many arriving unexpectedly and without time to prepare. The hospital’s Social Services department plays a critical role in supporting families by providing clothing, footwear, hygiene items, and holiday assistance, resources that can make a meaningful difference during difficult moments.

This year’s contribution included $20,000 in financial support, 1,000 PUMA men’s, women’s, and kids’ footwear and apparel items, as well as 1,000 fidget toys and 16 Paw Patrol toys, collectively valued at approximately $11,000. These items will support key hospital programs including the Care Closet, Sugar Plum Shop, and the Children’s Hospital Intervention and Prevention Services.

As a Birmingham-based company, Hibbett is proud to support organizations that have a lasting impact on families across our community. Our ongoing partnership with PUMA allows us to extend that support through both financial contributions and essential resources.

We are honored to continue this annual tradition and remain committed to supporting Children’s of Alabama and the families they serve during the holidays and throughout the year.
