Hibbett Donates $15,000 to Wings of America

Nov 14, 2025

Hibbett and Nike N7 honored Native American Heritage Month by hosting a powerful Indigenous community run and cultural celebration in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which drew over 100 Native runners. The event, grounded in tradition with an Elder-led land dedication, culminated in a significant $15,000 donation from Hibbett to the Wings of America foundation. This contribution will directly support post-season racing opportunities, mentorship, and training for the next generation of Native youth runners.

Hibbett, in partnership with Nike’s N7 Fund, marked Native American Heritage Month with a $15,000 donation to the Wings of America foundation during an Indigenous community run held earlier this month in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The event drew more than 100 Native runners representing more than 160 tribal affiliations. The day opened with remarks from Wings of America and Nike leaders, followed by an alumni panel and an Elder-led land dedication and prayer to honor tradition and set the tone for the run.

Participants trialed two Nike Running silhouettes from the recently released Holiday 2025 N7 Collection: the N7 V5 RNR and the N7 Pegasus 41.

The Wings of America x Hibbett x N7 run served as both a sporting event and a cultural celebration, highlighting strength, endurance and community spirit. At the close of the activation, Hibbett presented a $15,000 donation to Wings of America to support its mission of empowering Native youth through running, culture and community. The contribution will help fund postseason opportunities for Indigenous youth athletes, including travel, training, competition and mentorship.
