The entire sneakershere celebrated the next generation of Nike Air technology on March 26 with the launch of the Swoosh brand's latest innovation: the Air Max Dn. In Houston, The City Gear community did things up big in honor of the 6-colorway release inviting H-town trendsetters and influencers to the ultimate Dn launch party for a private celebration. Invitations were hand delivered to guests who were gifted the Air Max Dn as part of their exclusive, curated Air Max experience.
The event featured signature Air-Max-inspired cocktails, treats and eats, live music, and special guest appearances from local Houston-area artists Tae Devon and Justice Igonbor.
The Air Max Dn is all about feeling the unreal and creating new, tilted realities. Launch-party attendees got the opportunity to create tilted realities of their own, partnering with Tae Devon to imagine and bring to life individual tilted realities on canvas. These personalized Air Max Dn designs served as a creative propellant and party favor for guests to take home after the event.
Digital creator Justice Igunbor furthered the event's tilted reality concept by offering digitally enhanced, "tilted" photo-ops for guests to participate in. Tilted reality images were also available as party favors at the night's end.
