The wait is over City Gear shoppers: our Rewards Program is now available in City Gear stores, which means your purchases will now earn you Points towards Awards, early access to deals, birthday offers and more!
In addition to extending Rewards Points eligibility to City Gear store purchases, Hibbett | City Gear has also made updates to how membership status is upgraded and introduced new benefits for members.
Our award-winning Rewards Program features two levels of membership. Membership tiers are determined by the number of Points earned by customers throughout the calendar year. How do you earn these points? Simply shop at any local Hibbett Sports or City Gear retail location or online at Hibbett.com!
Members at the base level of the Hibbett | City loyalty program, known as MVPs, earn 1 Point per dollar spent in-stores and online, up to 199 points. Once an MVP reaches 200 Points, loyalty members level up to VIP status and begin earning 1.5 Points per dollar spent on eligible purchases.
Previously, MVPs remained at the base level of membership until they reached 250 Points, at which time they would upgrade to VIP status. The lower threshold will now allow Hibbett and City Gear customers to reach VIP status more quickly.
VIP members not only earn 1.5 Points per dollar spent, but top-tier loyalty members also unlock earlier access to deals than MVP and non-loyalty customers, receive a $15 birthday offer AND are the exclusive participants in new VIP-members’-only sales.
MVPs also unlock earlier access to offers and deals than customers who are not part of the Rewards Program and receive a $10 birthday offer each year.
Both MVP and VIP loyalty members will continue to earn Awards for every 200 Points earned.
