Tumbled black leather covers most of the upper, which is stitched in a series of horizontal and vertical lines reminiscent of the rays of the sun. These black lines start at the vamp and continue to the back of the shoe.
The toe and mudguard sport Field Purple textured leather overlays that offer a brilliant pop. The midsole, outsole and Jumpman tongue branding are purple, too, as is the black insole with purple branding.
The heel features a tab with Jordan printed in purple, along with the motto "quality inspired by the greatest player ever." Above this is a yellow Jumpman, and below is the number 23 embedded in black.
As a final nod to MJ's rule in the NBA, the laces feature two golden ankle eyelets on each side that look majestic and bright.
While the kids' shoes are basically a carbon copy of the adult kick, there is one major difference — the golden eyelets. The toddler shoe doesn't have golden accents, while the preschool shoe has one golden eyelet on each side.
