The Jordan 1 Retro Low "Atmosphere Grey" men's shoe drops August 25th at Hibbett | City Gear.
As far as basketball sneakers go, the Air Jordan 1 is king. This 1985 Peter Moore design was the first in Michael Jordan's signature line, so it holds a spot in many collectors’ hearts.
Now we have a new colorway on the way that closely resembles the high-top "Stealth" iteration from last year. The Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Atmosphere Grey" mixes tones of Atmosphere Grey, Sail and black for an understated shoe that'll still make quite the impact. It drops on August 25 in men's sizes.
Tumbled Sail leather makes up most of the upper, covering the side panels and toe. However, the toe box is filled in with Atmosphere Grey — minus the ventilation holes that give your feet room to breathe.
A gray Swoosh lines each side panel, sweeping back toward the heel. At the heel is another gray suede overlay, complete with the original Air Jordan Wings logo in black. It was inspired by MJ's ability to take flight mid-game.
There's black Nike Air branding on the Sail tongue, which is covered with Sail laces. A gray collar reveals a white insole with more black Nike Air branding.
The shoe sits on the traditional Sail midsole, wrapping around the shoe in one solid line. Beneath that is the gray rubber outsole with classic pivot circle traction patterns.
The off-white tones of this shoe make it almost feel vintage, so make sure your outfit matches. Keep it casual with faded fitted jeans and your favorite retro T-shirt or classic MJ jersey.
It's not bold or flashy, but it is a classic. The Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Atmosphere Grey" is a must-have for all collectors. Add it to your wardrobe when it drops on August 25 in men's sizes, online and at your local Hibbett | City Gear.
