If it's fall, it must be time for a new Nike Air Foamposite Pro drop. Last year, the Swoosh picked late October to drop the popular Nike Air Foamposite Pro Wolf Grey colorway. This year, get ready for an old-fashioned Black Friday scramble — the highly anticipated "He Got Game" Foamposite Pro drops November 28, 2025, the day after Thanksgiving.

Technically, the colorway is titled the Air Foamposite Pro "Pearl." This OG colorway launched in 1997, popping up in a Sprite commercial on the feet of San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan. But the silhouette was truly made famous as the shoe of choice for Jesus Shuttleworth, the character played by Ray Allen in "He Got Game," Spike Lee's classic 1998 hoops flick. (The same movie also featured Denzel Washington falling in love with an original pair of Air Jordan 13s, also tagged as a "He Got Game" colorway.)

Immortalized on film by an NBA superstar, the Air Foamposite Pro "Pearl" OG colorway has since been popularly known as the "He Got Game" 'Posite. 

This 2025 release of one of the all-time classic Nike sneakers has been trailed and hyped by sneakerheads and in-the-know blogs for more than a year. For collectors, hoopers, film buffs and sneaker history fans, this Black Friday release is a high-priority drop.

’90s Foamposite Drip, Back for 2025

The classic Foamposite "Pearl" colorway modeled by Ray Allen in "He Got Game" features a clean white upper with black lace collar, interior and bold Swoosh across the lateral side of the shoe. A red swoosh on the heel and red highlights on the light gum outsole complete the look (and fuel a rumor that this nearly-Chicago-Bulls colorway was originally intended for Scottie Pippen).

The Foamposite Pro is primarily differentiated from Foamposite Ones by replacing the One's Penny Hardaway branding with the iconic Swoosh. The Pro also has a different outsole pattern from the One. But all Foamposites have full-length Nike Zoom Air units and carbon-fiber shank in the midfoot, providing excellent cushioning and support.
