Nike "Icons" Collection Launching 05/01 Colorway: Various Colorways Style: Men's Shoes

Inspired by iconic colorways, The Nike "Icons" collection reimagines the Air Max 95, Air Max 90 & Nike Huarache in men's sizes May 1 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Nike isn't holding anything back this spring. It has decided to remix three of its popular '90s Air styles in an "Icons'' makeover, leaving us swooning in retro heaven.

First up is the Nike Air Max 95 "Icons" shoe featuring a white, yellow and grey color scheme. There will also be a Nike Air Max 90 "Icons" colorway, but this one uses University Red and Metallic Silver. Finally, the Nike Air Huarache "Icons" colorway uses a mix of white, pink and black. All three "Icons" styles will be available in men's sizes on May 1.

Nike Air Max 95 Icons

This version of the Air Max 95 closely resembles the OG "Neon" colorway, as it has a similar gray gradient overlay. White mesh surrounds the vamp, which then cascades down in various layers of gray suede, getting darker until it reaches an almost-black color at the bottom. The midsole and outsole are black, finishing off the ombre effect.

Muted gold eyestays hold white laces into place, and the golden Air Max tongue branding sits on a yellow and black emblem. There's additional yellow Nike branding at the heel, as well as a Nike Icons insole to really showcase this shoe's iconic status.

The Air Max 90 takes its inspiration from the OG "Silver Bullet" colorway, just with a few tweaks. Metallic Silver overlays cover the middle and toe, with white mesh at the vamp. There's a red Swoosh across the middle, along with a black Air Max insert. Red and black tongue branding showcase the Nike logo.

Nike Air Max 90 Icons

Inside the shoe, you'll see the same Nike Icons insole. There's more red and black Nike Air branding at the heel. All of this sits on a chunky white midsole with a see-through Air panel, leading to the black and red outsole beneath.

The Nike Air Huarache also borrows an old colorway since it takes inspiration from the Air Max 90 "Infrared." Off-white leather overlays cover up the white neoprene upper. These overlays double as eyestays, strapping in the white laces over the gray tongue. Tongue branding includes a red Nike Swoosh as well as "Air Huarache" in black. You guessed it—the insole also has Nike Icons imagery.

Nike Huarache Icons

Bright red patches line the middle, along with the heel support strap. This transition to black as it stretches to the middle of the shoe. A chunky white midsole with various textures sits atop a black outsole.

You'll be an icon in any of these shoes, especially if you wear them with your favorite baggy jeans and a vintage '90s tee.
