Nike LeBron NXXT Gen "Davinci" Launching 05/01 Colorway: Light Orewood Brown Style: Men's Shoe

The Nike Lebron NXXT Gen "Davinci" drops in men's sizes May 1 at Hibbett | City Gear.

LeBron James' latest shoe isn't actually part of his signature series. Instead, it's a new line geared toward the modern demands of the court — speed, force and precision. Just to prove how well they perform, LeBron wore the model several times this season, dominating as usual.

Now, the GOAT is dropping these kicks in a fresh colorway that'll have you eagerly counting down 'til release day. The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen in Light Orewood Brown, Coral Chalk, Sesame and Sail is subdued compared to LeBron's usual releases, but this will just lull your opponents into a false sense of complacency. You can wear this work of art on your feet starting on May 1 when it drops in men's sizes.

A textured cream mesh covers most of the upper, making the shoe almost look like it's covered in antique lace. The tongue is the same color and features a lace guard with pink embroidered Nike and LBJ logos. Above that, King James' signature is embedded into the tongue, which is trimmed in orange and stitched with black thread.

Creamy ankle padding gives you the comfort you need as you drive to the basket. The insole is more of a tan color and includes black NXXT branding.

There is one faux snakeskin leather overlay on the medial middle that wraps to the heel. Upon this is a black Swoosh with a threaded orange outline. The lateral middle has a pink Swoosh outlined in black threading; these two Swooshes intersect together at the heel. You also can't miss the smaller accent Swoosh in orange on the lateral heel.

A black heel tab features XX charms. Under that is a white midsole. The outsole is also white and wraps up pretty high at the toe. The map-like tread will give you grip whether you're planting for a jump shot or a high post pick.

Since these shoes are mostly neutral, you can go bigger with your outfit. Utilize the pink and orange accents of this shoe by getting a matching T-shirt. Throw it all together with black basketball shorts and crew socks, and you'll be ready for game action.
