An off-white mesh upper looks like it's faded from white over the years, giving these shoes a retro look. Leather overlays around the toe and forefoot give the shoe a little stability while still helping it stay lightweight.
Phantom laces cross over a Phantom tongue, though it does feature golden branding at the top. You'll see Ja's custom logo in black— a very pointed and elongated "J" and "A" that calls to mind the old logos for Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant.
The back of the tongue and ankle padding are University Blue, which offers nice contrast to the black insole. As a nod to the shoe's name, the insole is covered with trivia questions about Ja in green yellow, orange, blue and red. Examples include "How many siblings does Ja Morant have?" and "What college did Ja Morant attend?"
The heel is where this shoe lets loose with an explosion of color. A solid green line separates the purple top half from the blue bottom half. This green line wraps around the shoe to form a Nike Swoosh on both middle sides of the shoe.
The purple top half of the heel includes an embroidered red "12" as well as more trivia questions about Ja. The bottom half includes Ja's signature in a black scrawl. All of this sits on a crisp white outsole and a golden outsole. A final Morant logo appears in black on the heel.
