The adidas Jeremy Scott Forum Wings 4.0 “White/Core Black” and adidas Jeremy Scott Forum Wings 4.0 “Black/White” unisex shoes drop March 17 at Hibbett | City Gear.
One of the most iconic adidas Originals designs of the 2000s is the JS Wings. Designer Jeremy Scott has an eye for flair, so the oversized wings adorning the ankles of these high tops are like something from a dream.
Now, the designs are getting even more dreamy in two new opal colorways. The adidas x Jeremy Scott Forum Wings 4.0 in black and in white both shimmer with a pearlescent finish that’ll leave onlookers in awe. Both angelic styles are dropping in unisex sizes on March 17.
Each of these casual shoes is monochromatic, meaning they’re all black or all white without any other accents. Both are covered in synthetic leather, but the black shoe is particularly glossy, with a bit of a holographic lean. The white shoe seems to be shiny except for a pearlescent heel clip. The black shoe also has this clip, but it appears to be a solid dark color rather than an opalescent one.
An ankle strap featuring adidas branding keeps you locked in and supported no matter your adventures. The strap goes across the adidas Trefoil tongue branding. But the most iconic part of the shoe—and the part that’ll have your friends “oohing” and “aahing”—are the oversized wings adorning the ankles. These jut out from the side of the shoe, making your feet look like eagles ready to take flight.
A thick, straightforward midsole attaches to a rubber outsole beneath. This features mini adidas Trefoil traction patterns along with some additional branding at the midfoot. These casual kicks aren’t for the faint of heart—so don’t be afraid to turn up the fashion when you wear them. We’re thinking they’d look great with a matching pearlescent bomber jacket and dark-washed jeans.
