The Jordan 1 High OG “Bubble Gum” colorway is a new women’s exclusive that will also be available in toddler and preschool kids’ sizes. It drops on December 22 at Hibbett | City Gear – just in time for a last-minute gift this holiday season.

The Jordan 1 High is one of the streetwear world’s most coveted styles. And, in a nod to more inclusivity, Jordan Brand is releasing the retro shoe in new women’s colorways.

While the color blocking in this shoe isn’t exactly unique—we’ve seen it before in shoes like the highly coveted “Bred Toe”—the color combo is. Atmosphere, Obsidian and white are the highlights here, and together, they create a look that’s both punky and delicate.

Black leather covers the toe, tongue and ankle, while delicate rosy pink adorns the toe box, ankle and heel. In the middle, you’ll find textured white leather along with the classic black Swoosh overlay. A clean white midsole cuts through the combination, keeping things sterile and crisp. The highly recognizable Air Jordan branding is prominently featured.

You’ll see the original Air Jordan wings logo in black, stamped into the pink ankle. White Nike Air branding appears on the black tongue and insole. There’s also a Nike logo on the middle of the bottom of the pink outsole. Nike has switched things up and threaded these kicks up with navy laces. It’s a surprising combo that somehow works despite no other navy in the shoe.

While MJ did originally wear these on the court, today, you wouldn’t be caught dead dribbling with such a classic. Instead, they’re much better suited for casual wear. Throw these on with your favorite pair of skinny jeans or leggings so you can show off the high top. Better yet, pair them with basketball shorts and no-show ankle socks for a courtside-ready look.
