When you think of the Jordan 11, you probably think of classic color schemes like “Bred” or “Concord.” It’s time to redefine your impressions since the retro Tinker Hatfield design is about to drop in an all-new colorway.

The AJ Retro 11 Low “Light Orewood Brown” stuns in Orewood Brown, Neutral Grey and white. It’s a crisp and clean combo that begs for customizations to make it your own. This shoe is a bit subtle with its colors, so you’ll need to look closely to discern the differences between the grays, whites and creams. At the toe box is a patch of white that’s covered by an Orewood Brown overlay at the top of the laces. This overlay wraps around the back of the heel and features cutouts for gray mesh panels underneath.

Speaking of gray, you’ll notice the eyestays and top part of the shoe are made of a Neutral Gray canvas that’s stitched in place with vertical threading. Gray canvas eyelets hold the white laces in place. Beneath them is a gray mesh and white leather tongue.

At the tongue branding, there’s an embroidered white Jumpman that almost looks 3D. Gray ankle padding gives way to a darker gray insole with a lighter gray Jumpman. A pure white composite midsole looks clean-cut as it wraps around the shoe. It’s mated to a translucent gray outsole. You can just barely see a white Jumpman lurking beneath. There are also white traction pattern points at the forefoot and heel.

As far as color goes, these shoes are pretty tame, meaning you have more room to play with your outfit. Choose one or two accent colors and go big. For example, bright red crew socks and metallic silver basketball shorts could be a sick combo. Pull it all together with your favorite His Airness tee.
