The Jordan 5 Retro Low PSG “Pumice​/Game Royal/Black” men’s shoe launches September 3 at Hibbett | City Gear.

Jordan Brand and football club Paris Saint-Germain have been tight since 2018, when the two signed an exclusive deal to work together. Though it may seem strange to have a soccer team sporting Jumpman gear, it turns out Parisians have a not-so-secret love of His Airness and the style culture he represents.

While we’ve seen four previous shoe collabs between the two entities before — like this Jordan 7 Retro “PSG” colorway — it looks like a new fifth style is on the horizon. The Jordan 5 Retro Low x PSG has a mostly Pumice upper with touches of Game Royal, Bright Crimson, Plum, Eclipse and black throughout. It launches on September 3 in men’s sizes.

The matte Pumice upper looks sleek and monochromatic, broken up only by the translucent mesh panels along the middle. These mesh panels feature a small red, white and blue decorative tag that reads “paname” — Paris’ nickname — in black.

Pumice laces keep things color coordinated, but the upper part of the tongue finally switches it up. It’s covered in black and features an embroidered blue Jumpman — perhaps a nod to PSG’s red, white and blue color scheme. On the back, you’ll see a small tag that reads “Ici C’est” on the right foot and “Paris” on the left, which translates to “This is Paris” — PSG’s famed slogan.

Another cool detail that highlights this is the red, white and blue lace aglets. There’s also a lace toggle that burns bright in neon orange with a clear shield on top. At the heel, a red wax seal highlights a Jumpman in the center, surrounded by the words “Paris Saint-Germain” on the top and bottom.

The midsole is mostly black, save for the speckled shark tooth styling at the forefoot and peek-a-boo Air unit at the heel. Beneath this, a milky outsole features one final Paris Saint-Germain and Jumpman emblem in blue, along with a black panel that reads “Jordan.”
